There is a fine tradition and love of sport in Scoil Bhríde. Our pupils partake in a very varied P.E. curriculum. We often link up with local clubs and have been offered extra coaching moments in hurling, football and tag rugby in recent years. Our pupils from 3rd – 6th Class avail of swimming lessons from September to December each school year. Some of our pupils participate in competitive sporting moments, representing our school in individual and team sports such as athletics, football, basketball, soccer, tag rugby and table tennis. We have recently installed a new multi-surface play area, which has added significantly to the sporting facilities available to our pupils. Although, we are a relatively small school, we are renowned for our strong sporting presence in competitions and enjoy competing to the best of our ability. We held the titles of Cumann na mBunscol Small School of the Year in 2003, Cumann na mBunscol Intermediate School of the Year in 2011 and Cumann na mBunscol Cill Dara School of the Year in 2016.
