As part of Catholic Schools Week, we were delighted to welcome our grandparents to join us for a very special morning of celebration, with mass in the Church of St. Brigid in Milltown, followed by a cup of tea and a chat in the school hall afterwards. Needless to say, our pupils were very excited to welcome their grandparents to our school and their classrooms, while we as a wider school community, were delighted to acknowledge the wonderful relationship shared between a grandparent and their grandchild.
Thank you to everyone who came out to support us. Our thanks to all of our grandparents for the care and support they give to our pupils and families and as we heard in our mass reflection, we thank them for creating a chain of love linking the past with the future. Here’s a few photos from a very special day in Scoil Bhríde, Milltown.
